2SLGBTQIA+ friendly small businesses in Saint John, N.B.

Precursor

When I first launched this blog a few months ago, I told y’all that it was gonna be full of randomness. So, you were warned, and yet you’re still here.

Background

As part of a little project I’m working on, I’ve compiled a list of small businesses in Saint John that have gone out of their way to demonstrate their inclusiveness and welcoming attitude toward members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. The ultimate purpose of this list is yet to be realized, but in the meantime I figured I’d post here what I’ve put together.

The Ask

If you’ve got a business you think should be added to the list, please reach out and let me know what the business is, and how they’ve demonstrated their allyship. I’m also interested in identifying supportive businesses in Grand Bay-Westfield, Welsford, Public Landing and Browns Flat. (Oh, and if you think someone should not be on this list, please send me a private message to let me know what’s up.)

The Invitation

Please feel free to share this list! Let’s support those who support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Also, feel free to let the owners of these businesses know I’ve called them out for being awesome.

I’m Daniel Mark.

Welcome to my blog.

This blog breaks rules. It doesn’t focus on just one theme and I don’t post to it on a consistent schedule. That’s OK. It’s my blog. Not yours.

But you’re here! If you think you can piece together what it all means, I’d be curious to know your conclusions.
