Introducing “Faust”

After just nine and a half months owning my 2024 Kia Seltos SX Turbo, I have traded it in. The car never let me down, but it was the subject of a series of unfortunate events that culminated in a financial settlement which allowed me to just let it go and move on.

I’m excited to have purchased, from Vantage Motors in Truro this morning, this beautiful new Volkswagen in Atlantic Blue Metallic, which I have named Faust. There will be many adventures had with this vehicle. This is my fourth Volkswagen, following a 2011 Jetta Trendline, 2017 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition and a short-lived 2022 Taos Highline. Add in my 2021 BMW 330i xDrive and it’s my fifth German-engineered vehicle.

I’m Daniel Mark.

Welcome to my blog.

This blog breaks rules. It doesn’t focus on just one theme and I don’t post to it on a consistent schedule. That’s OK. It’s my blog. Not yours.

But you’re here! If you think you can piece together what it all means, I’d be curious to know your conclusions.
