Short Trip to Portland

Shaun and I went to Portland, Maine for a couple days this week. The primary purpose of our trip was to attend a show featuring the hilarious (and highly inappropriate) British comedian Jimmy Carr. He did not disappoint.

We also visited Fort Williams Park, home to an abandoned fort, a heavily-photographed lighthouse and an abandoned mansion that later housed married army officers and their families. Here are photos of the fort, mansion and what was once a steam-powered electricity generating station.
