I drove to Quebec City on Saturday with two friends.
What a fun trip.
The weather was beautiful. On the drive up we nearly sweated to death. (I don’t have air conditioning.) But when we got there, we enjoyed the warmth while touring around Old Québec. Everyone in the city seemed to be out enjoying the beautiful spring day.
The three of us agreed that if our little spring trip was any indication of how the rest of the summer would go, we were in for a good time.
We ate at an Irish pub and then went to Le Drague. I was really impressed with the club. The staff was friendly, there was a large dance floor, and the décor was unique.
Later in the evening, a second dance floor opened downstairs. It was very modern—even futuristic—with music you just couldn’t help but dance to.
I thoroughly enjoyed a late-night walk through downtown, stopping to sit on the wall overlooking Old Québec to chat and enjoy the night.
We stayed until about noon on Sunday before driving back to New Brunswick.
Tomorrow is another day. Always an adventure.
